Clothes Peg Counting Activity

Encourage number recognition and practise fine motor skills through this hands-on maths counting activity.

For this activity:

You will need number cards from 0 to 10 and clothes pegs (a smaller size if possible).
Ask you child to choose a number card from the pile. Identify the number and count the same number of clothes pegs.
Carefully attach the clothes pegs to the sides of the number card.
Once each number is completed, check by recounting the clothes pegs and ensuring it matches the number on the card.
