Celebrate the Year of the Ox this Chinese New Year. This simple art & craft activity can be made with a leftover toilet roll tube and simple art supplies.

Materials:

• Empty toilet roll tube
• Brown, orange, pink and grey coloured paper (or paint)
• Googly eyes
• Yellow and black markers
• Glue
• Scissors

Instructions:

1. Take an old toilet roll tube and paint or cover it in brown paper
2. Cut out a face from brown paper and a nose from pink paper
3. On the pink paper, draw a nose ring using black and yellow markers
4. Cut a hair shape out of orange-coloured paper
5. Cut out and attach horns. Use light blue paper if you have it
6. Attach the google eyes
7. Glue the finished head onto the toilet roll tube body
