Materials needed: black, white and orange-coloured paper, googly eyes, scissors, glue.

For this activity:

1. Put your hand on the black paper, trace around it and then cut out the shape
2. Cut out a white circle and orange diamond or square shape
3. Glue the white circle onto the middle of the black paper, where your palm would be
4. Fold the orange shape in half and glue it at the top of the white shape, pointing down towards the fingers. This is the penguin’s nose.
5. Glue the googly eyes above and to each side of the nose.
