Santa Letter Printable Template

Writing a letter to Santa is a great way to practise writing skills in a fun and non-threatening way. This template works well for younger children who still find writing sentences a little overwhelming.

Instructions:

Read the sentences together and decide what word(s) should fill each blank.
Use a whiteboard to practise writing the word before writing it on the letter template.
Encourage children to use their phonics skills to sound-out and spell the words.
For an extra challenge, ask the child to fold the letter, put it into an envelope and address the envelope to Santa.
