For this activity:
- You will need: 2 dice, a printed PDF worksheet and a pencil.
- Using the dice, experiment with rolling each number starting with 2. How many ways can we make 2 by rolling the dice?
- Write the number of ways in the middle column. In the third column, write out the addition sentences to match (1 + 1 = 2).
- Continue until you get to 12.
- Which number had the most number of ways? Which number had the least?
- Why wasn’t 1 included on the worksheet?
