Marshmallow Fine Motor Counting

Focus on fine motor skills and counting with this fun and hands-on maths activity using small marshmallows and tongs.

For this activity:

  1. Label cups from 1 to 6 or other numbers that you want to focus on. 
  2. Using tongs, ask your child to move the appropriate number of marshmallows into each cup. 
  3. For more of a challenge with older children, take out the marshmallows in the cups and count how many there are altogether.
