Weaving is a great activity that helps to develop your child’s fine motor skills. It also focuses on: patterns and sequencing, hand-eye coordination and concentration skills.

For this activity:

1. Fold an A4 size brown coloured card in half. Make uniform cuts from the folded end up to 2cm from the end.
2. Using strips of red, brown and orange paper, weave them through a brown A4 paper going in an up and down motion.
3. Practiced name writing using these these Thanksgiving printable place cards as the name labels for the placemats.
4. Laminate if possible.
