Create a Gratitude Tree

A gratitude tree is a great way for children to display the things they are grateful for while creating a beautiful decoration for Thanksgiving.

For this activity:

You will need: brown coloured paper, green coloured paper, black marker.
This activity can be done before Thanksgiving dinner or it can be an activity that everyone at your Thanksgiving table can participate in during the meal.
Create a tree trunk with brown coloured paper including a few different tree branches.
Stick onto a wall near the dining table.
Give each dinner guest a paper leaf and ask them to write something they’re thankful for on each leaf.
This is a great activity to do at Thanksgiving but also throughout the year to remind children all the things they have to be thankful for.
