For this activity:

1. In this book, Pete goes trick-or-treating from house to house and discovers what is waiting behind each door. Read the book together. At the end, discuss the sequence of costumes that appear in the book. Who came first? Who was last? 
2. Then watch the video “Knock, knock, trick-or-treat”. Focus on the order the costumes appear in the song.
3. Use these Halloween Matching Cards of the 6 different costumes in the song.
4. First match the costumes with the words based on their initial sounds.
5. Then try to sequence the costumes in the order they appeared in the song.
