For this activity:

  1. Print off the game board. Laminate it if possible, so you can play the game again and again.
  2. Download and print the number cards included for the activity, or write the numbers from one to twenty-five on paper. Fold the numbers and place them in an envelope.
  3. Choose a colour for each player. The youngest player goes first to pick a number out of the envelope.
  4. When you have drawn a number, write it in the appropriate space on the grid, using the coloured pen. Do not put it back in the envelope.
  5. Continue taking turns until the grid is full.
  6. As vertical or horizontal lines are completed, award points to each player and see who wins.
  • 3 numbers appearing anywhere in a completed row = 1 point
  • 4 numbers in a row = 2 points
  • 5 numbers in a row = 3 points.
