For this activity:
- Print off the game board. Laminate it if possible, so you can play the game again and again.
- Download and print the number cards included for the activity, or write the numbers from one to twenty-five on paper. Fold the numbers and place them in an envelope.
- Choose a colour for each player. The youngest player goes first to pick a number out of the envelope.
- When you have drawn a number, write it in the appropriate space on the grid, using the coloured pen. Do not put it back in the envelope.
- Continue taking turns until the grid is full.
- As vertical or horizontal lines are completed, award points to each player and see who wins.
- 3 numbers appearing anywhere in a completed row = 1 point
- 4 numbers in a row = 2 points
- 5 numbers in a row = 3 points.
