For this activity:

1. You will need: 2 dice, a printed PDF worksheet and a pencil. 
2. Using the dice, experiment with rolling each number starting with 2. How many ways can we make 2 by rolling the dice?
3. Write the number of ways in the middle column. In the third column, write out the addition sentences to match (1 + 1 = 2).
4. Continue until you get to 12. 
5. Which number had the most number of ways? Which number had the least?
6. Why wasn’t 1 included on the worksheet?
